en het daarin alomtegenwoordige kant- en klare- denken stellen wij een andere weg voor: zelf nadenken en het open gesprek aangaan. &nbsp;<\/i><\/span><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat; color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-style: normal;\">Het idee voor de libertaire volksuniversiteit is in 2023 ontstaan in N\u00eemes, Frankrijk, tijdens 'les rencontres de la souverainet\u00e9' van <em>R\u00e9publique Souveraine<\/em> van Georges Kuzmanovic en <em>Oser la France<\/em> van Julien Aubert en is voornamelijk ge\u00efnspireerd door de <em>Universit\u00e9 Populaire de Caen<\/em> van de Franse filosoof Michel Onfray.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat; color: #000000; font-size: 16pt; font-style: normal;\">Centrale vraag LVU<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<div>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat; color: #000000; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal;\">De centrale vraag van de LVU is hoe we een andere politiek kunnen vormgeven, een politiek die democratischer is en gebaseerd op \u00e8chte politiek, in plaats van op gevechten om de macht in de Haagse slangenkuil, opdat we ons land en onze vrijheid weer terugkrijgen.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat; color: #000000; font-size: 16pt; font-style: normal;\">Het doel: demopedie<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat; color: #000000; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal;\">Het doel van de libertaire volksuniversiteit is kort maar krachtig: demopedie. Demopedie is een neologisme van Pierre-Joseph Proudhon, die het smeedde van de Griekse woorden <bdi class=\"lang-grc\" lang=\"grc\">\u03b4\u1fc6\u03bc\u03bf\u03c2<\/bdi>, <bdi class=\"lang-grc-Latn\" lang=\"grc-Latn\"><i>d\u00eamos<\/i><\/bdi> (volk) en <bdi class=\"lang-grc\" lang=\"grc\">\u03c0\u03b1\u03b9\u03b4\u03b5\u03af\u03b1<\/bdi>, <bdi class=\"lang-grc-Latn\" lang=\"grc-Latn\"><i>paide\u00eda <\/i>(geestelijke ontwikkeling)<\/bdi>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat; color: #000000; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal;\">Het doel van demopedie is er voor zorgen dat individuen beter in staat zijn om hun leven in eigen hand te nemen. Want in een 'vrije, democratische' samenleving, is het wel belangrijk om dan ook te weten wat zaken als democratie en vrijheid zoal zouden <em>kunnen<\/em> betekenen - en hoe je daar je voordeel mee kunt doen in je leven.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat; color: #000000; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal;\">Sommige filosofen noemen demopedie ook wel de 'elitisering van het volk'. En volksuniversiteiten hebben een lange geschiedenis van elitisering van het volk. Volgens Jasper Mekkes is een laagdrempelige universiteit, waar ook mensen met een kleine beurs zich gratis of tegen een kleine vergoeding kunnen informeren om beter beslagen ten ijs te komen in een steeds onvriendelijker wereld, een typisch libertair fenomeen; color: #000000;\">Meer specifiek wordt libertair vaak gezien als synoniem voor anarchist, omdat anarchisten het woord libertair al vroeg kaapten - maar of dat klopt hangt af van de definitie van anarchisme die gebruikt wordt. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat; color: #000000;\">Proudhon was de eerste persoon die zichzelf anarchist noemde en hij introduceerde dat woord in 1840. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat; color: #000000;\">Kort samengevat is het anarchisme van Proudhon een positieve, vriendelijke en ordelijke variant van anarchisme m\u00e8t een (confederale) staat, <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat; font-size: 14pt;\">\"Bij de Libertaire Volksuniversiteit gaan we op beschaafde wijze met elkaar in gesprek over ingewikkelde dilemma's.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: inherit;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Montserrat; font-weight: 300; font-style: normal; font-size: 14pt;\">En dat is nieuw omdat we in Nederland vaak moeite hebben om lastige dilemma's in een open en beschaafd gesprek te bespreken met elkaar. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat; color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300; font-style: normal; font-size: 14pt;\">In Nederland worden dergelijke dilemma's toch meestal besproken door cabaretiers die er grappen over maken of door coaches die <\/span><span style=\"caret-color: #000000; font-size: 18.666666px;\">de lastige dilemma's, als een soort dompteur, <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">in een hokje proberen te stoppen.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: inherit;\"><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat; color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 300; font-style: normal; font-size: 14pt;\">Maar het lachen om en wegstoppen van ingewikkelde dilemma's is een kenmerk van het nihilisme. En laten we ons met de libertaire volksuniversiteit nu juist willen verzetten <\/span><span style=\"caret-color: #000000; font-size: 18.666666px;\">tegen<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"> dat nihilisme, door w\u00e8l het gesprek met de ander aan te gaan.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: inherit;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Montserrat; font-weight: 300; font-style: normal; font-size: 14pt;\">Want als politiek de wetenschap van de vrijheid is, dan is politiek te belangrijk om over te laten aan cabaretiers en coaches.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: inherit;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Montserrat; font-weight: 300; font-style: normal; font-size: 14pt;\">De insteek van de debat middagen van de LVU is om publiek en sprekers met een passie voor het verbeteren van Nederland samen te brengen en hun verhaal te laten vertellen. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: inherit;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Montserrat; font-weight: 300; font-style: normal; font-size: 14pt;\">Het doel van dit alles? Het verkennen van praktische oplossingen voor ingewikkelde problemen door in een open gesprek idee\u00ebn van oude en nieuwe denkers met elkaar te
